Conexant 20672 Smartaudio Hd Drivers

I have a laptop with this audio chipset (Conexant 20672 SmartAudio HD), and it seems that vMix has an issue using the audio input from the external microphone jack. When I connect up a microphone, and set it to an input in vMix, I get some random clicks and blips in the audio feed within vMix (heard in recording and streaming, and even simply. Our goal is to broaden and improve supported Linux technologies by making complete, high-quality drivers for Conexant chipsetsavailable to the Linux community.

Conexant 20672 Smartaudio Hd Drivers

Due to intellectual-property/patent issues beyond our control, the sourcecode of some components like modem modulations cannot be released;however, we have attempted to reduce the inconvenience of binary-only modulesby separating the proprietary code from the operating-system specific code. Thelatter is provided in source form, allowing users to install the drivers under anysupported version of the Linux kernel.

Is my device supported? Which driver(s) do I need?

Our generic Linux drivers for most Conexant HCF, HSF and DGC chipsetssupport as many configurations and features as possible. Howeverdue to the large number of modem and computer system manufacturers usingConexant chipsets in custom products, there are no guarantees that generic driverswill provide the same functionality as the original driver software or even workwith your modem (please see the license/legal disclaimer).Despite this, we have many happy users!

To choose the appropriate driver(s), you must first identify your modem chipset.
